Annelie, you have been with Nordmann for 30 years – what have been the most memorable moments for you personally during this time?

Annelie: There have been many special moments over three decades, but what has been particularly memorable for me is the development of our Nordic location into a strategically important part of the international Nordmann family. The successful integration of innovative suppliers, the introduction of new quality standards and the repositioning of the Nordmann brand in 2019 have shown how much we can achieve together. It has been an exciting journey! Working with dedicated colleagues across national borders has also always inspired me.

How has your role as Managing Director changed over the years – and what does leadership mean to you?

Annelie: My role has evolved significantly with the growth of the company and the increasing demands of sustainability and digitalization. I initially worked at Nordmann as Technical Sales & Product Manager in Personal Care before becoming Managing Director. For me, leadership today means above all setting clear strategic goals, building trust, and fostering an environment in which employees can develop. Responsibility for personnel development, budget planning, and business development is just as central as the ability to actively shape change.

What motivates you to continue working at Nordmann with so much energy and commitment even after 30 years?

Annelie: The diversity of our tasks, the innovative strength of our industry, and the opportunity to actively contribute to the further development of the company motivate me every day. It is particularly fulfilling when we work with our teams to open up new markets or develop individual solutions for our customers. For me, Nordmann is not just a workplace, but a place where I can shape and grow. Our slogan “knowledge in action” expresses this very well.

Thank you very much for talking to us, Annelie.
