Raw materials for contact lenses and intraocular lenses
Since 1995, Nordmann has been sourcing and supplying raw materials for the production of contact lenses, intraocular lenses and medical devices. We work with a range of chemical manufacturers to offer a comprehensive portfolio of high-purity raw materials.
In 2012, we invested in a research, development and manufacturing facility in Singapore. In July 2020, to support our fast-paced growth we moved to the world-first, ready-built chemicals facility, JTC Chemical Hub@Tuas in Singapore.

Manufacturing of high purity acrylate and methacrylate monomers
- Purification of contact lens raw materials
- Blending of raw materials
- Re-packing of materials from drums to bottles

Hydrogel lenses
A complete line of monomers, crosslinkers, UV blockers and tints. Monomers can be supplied with specific purity levels to meet customer requirements. All materials are supplied with consistent batch-to-batch quality.
Intraocular lenses (IOL)
A complete line of hydrophilic and hydrophobic monomers. Monomers can be supplied to custom purity levels upon request. Low or custom inhibitor levels available upon request.
Rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses
A complete line of low- and high-DK monomers and silicone Triss monomers. High-purity monomers are supplied with consistent batch-to-batch quality.
Silicone hydrogel lenses
A complete line of hydrophilic monomers, crosslinkers, UV blockers, silicone monomers and silicone macromeres. Monomers can be supplied with specific purity levels to meet customer requirements, and customized inhibitor levels are available on a number of grades. Bespoke silicone monomers and macromeres available on request.
All materials are supplied to a uniform quality.
