Nordmann at Food Ingredients Europe (FiE) 2024

Nordmann, an international distributor of raw materials and food ingredients, will be attending the Food Ingredients Europe 2024 trade fair in Frankfurt am Main from November 19-21. With a strong focus on innovations from numerous new partners and its Food & Nutrition Lab, Nordmann will be presenting a wide range of products and solutions.

Vegan nutrition, fat, sugar and salt reduction, protein enrichment and sustainability are important trends for success in the food and beverage industry. Nordmann, together with its partners, offers an expanded product range that takes these market developments into account and helps its customers develop foods and beverages that meet consumer expectations.

In addition to working with trusted partners, Nordmann is continually expanding its portfolio by entering into new partnerships and adding new product groups from existing partners. Examples of this include concepts for reducing sugar and salt, for improving the flavor and nutritional value of vegetarian and vegan foods, cultures for meat and fish products and for vegetable fermentation, sustainability through upcycling coffee grounds, proteins, sports nutrition, dairy products and plant-based alternatives, as well as processing aids for the production of edible oils, spice mixtures and breweries.

Of course, Nordmann's basic products such as thickeners, fibers, cultures, enzymes & coagulants, silica, pH stabilizers, sweeteners & sugar replacement, vitamins & nutrients, flavors & flavor enhancers, inclusions, food colors, premixes and chocolate concepts as well as cocoa replacers round off the comprehensive portfolio.

Nordmann's Food & Nutrition Lab

Nordmann opened an international food and nutrition application laboratory in Hamburg last year. This laboratory “works” synergies from the products of its international suppliers. This way, Nordmann can offer its food and beverage customers a great deal of added value with its own application laboratory, in person, in customer seminars, but also digitally in the form of webinars such as the Nordmann Food Talk series, which regularly reports on news from the industry and the Nordmann range.

The laboratory offers Nordmann's sales team excellent technical support, especially when it comes to specific questions about raw materials for various applications.

In addition, the development of the laboratory's own recipes and samples for customers is a great way to demonstrate how to use Nordmann ingredients to best effect and which processing and environmental parameters should be taken into account when doing so.

Finally, Lab to Lab Support also enables close cooperation with suppliers on the development side, which has led to great progress being made.

Dr. Ulla Seidel, Global Sales Director Life Sciences at Nordmann, emphasizes: “Visitors to the FiE can get a first taste of our sugar- and fat-reduced recipes, as well as our vegan and plant-based products, at Nordmann's FiE Tasting Bar. Here we will be presenting cocoa-reduced muffins, vegan gummies, vegan and fat-reduced salad creams and honey mustard tortilla chips. Visitors can look forward to an exciting display."

Oliver Koopmann, business manager food at Nordmann Germany, adds: ”We are particularly pleased to be presenting the innovative product portfolio of our numerous new suppliers at the fair. Our new partnerships with beachemie, Carob Ingredients, IBK Tropic, Meadow Foods, Ransom Naturals, Sacco System and Zukan strengthen our ability to offer forward-looking and sustainable solutions that meet the growing needs of our customers. Our sales team, coming from all over Europe, will be taking the opportunity to exchange ideas with professionals and present the latest developments."

Visitors will find Nordmann at Stand 4.1 D61 at the FiE in Frankfurt am Main from November 19-21.
