Nordmann partner dsm-firmenich has three innovative yoghurt culture solutions in its portfolio: Delvo®Fresh PIONEER, Delvo®Guard and the Delvo®ONE culture range. These innovations improve the quality and consistency of yoghurt products and offer manufacturers greater flexibility. 

Delvo®Fresh PIONEER

Delvo®Fresh PIONEER is a new generation of starter cultures that dsm-firmenich has developed specifically for the production of mild yoghurt. They are characterized by exceptional pH stability, which is maintained both during production and throughout the entire shelf life. The target pH value remains constant even if there are delays during the production process. Delvo®Fresh PIONEER delivers consistently smooth and creamy taste and texture. The starter cultures are also ideal for recipes with a high protein- and low fat- content, as well as sugar-reduced or sugar-free yoghurts.

Delvo®Guard cultures

They offer an effective solution for the natural preservation of yogurt and other fresh products. They extend shelf life without noticeably altering taste, consistency, or aroma—in other words, the sensory properties.

They are easy to use and can be integrated into existing production processes without affecting the fermentation process.

Thanks to their natural mode of action, the cultures ensure microbiological safety – without any additional preservatives or additives that require declaration.

Delvo®ONE

The Delvo®ONE culture range is dsm-firmenich's first portfolio of all-in-one cultures for fermented dairy products. Delvo®ONE comprises five different cultures, all of which do not only provide flavour and texture but also have integrated bioprotection. This extends the shelf life of the products and improves production efficiency. With the Delvo®ONE culture range, manufacturers can not only develop yoghurts with the desired taste and texture profile faster and more accurately, but also meet the increasing consumer demand for high-quality, consistent and healthy yoghurt products.
