I particularly appreciate the diversity of the role: it’s not limited to laboratory work but also involves close collaboration with colleagues and customers. I’ll be actively involved in initiatives such as preparation of scientific articles Food or Health Talks, and both internal and external technical trainings. This variety allows me to contribute my knowledge while continuing to grow professionally alongside Nordmann as a global player.

Moreover, I truly value the company culture and the positive working atmosphere at Nordmann, which makes it an inspiring environment to be part of.

What goals have you set yourself for your first few months at Nordmann?

Sabrina: In my first few months at Nordmann, my main goal is to build a solid understanding of existing processes, the product portfolio, and our customers’ specific needs. This knowledge will enable me to contribute in a targeted and meaningful way from the very beginning.

At the same time, I aim to provide fresh impulses for innovative product solutions. I find current trends particularly exciting—especially the growing demand for holistic concepts. In the Health Care sector, this includes topics such as sleep, longevity, hormonal balance, energy or immune support. In addition, I would like to develop marketable dosage forms for children and the elderly.

In the Food segment, plant-based alternatives, functional drinks and foods, clean label solutions, and sustainable nutrition approaches like zero waste and circular food systems are still of high interest. Of course, enjoyment and sensory appeal should always remain central to our developments.

Ultimately, I want to integrate myself into the team and build strong internal and external relationships and grow together with Nordmann in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

How do you envision working with Nordmann's external laboratories or with Nordmann's other application laboratories?

Sabrina: At Nordmann, collaboration is at the heart of our approach.

Internally, we maintain a close exchange between our Food, Health Care, and Cosmetic laboratories. This means sharing laboratory equipment, leveraging overlaps in raw materials, and exchanging expertise on trials and formulations. By doing so, we create strong synergies that accelerate innovation and ensure optimal results for our customers.

Externally, we envision a highly cooperative and solution-oriented partnership with other laboratories. Our extended network provides access to valuable resources—whether for specialized analyses, joint development projects, or regulatory support. This collaboration broadens our capabilities and enables us to deliver comprehensive, tailored solutions that truly benefit our customers.

In short, by combining internal synergies with external expertise, we maximize efficiency, foster innovation, and create added value across all application areas.
