Innovative epoxy resins from Olin®: environmentally friendly according to the latest regulations
The requirements for epoxy resins and their application are constantly increasing. Innovative product improvements are therefore more in demand than ever in order to meet the legal requirements. Olin® – a leading manufacturer of epoxy resins – has responded to current market developments at an early stage and developed innovative epoxy resins and hardeners that meet the new legal and environmental requirements.
D.E.R.® 915 / D.E.H.® 828EU
With the use of D.E.R.® 915, a well-known epoxy dispersion, there is double benefit for our environment: In addition to a VOC content close to zero, this dispersion in combination with the new developed hardener D.E.H.® 828EU, serves as an anti-corrosion coating for transportation vehicles or general industrial coating and thus contributes to an increased life cycle of metallic objects.

D.E.R.® 3111 / D.E.R.® 3561
In 2024, numerous epoxy reactive diluents were reclassified and have since been labeled with the hazard phrase “H360F”. Olin® can already present the newly developed epoxy blends with the development designations D.E.R.® 3111 and D.E.R.® 3561, which are characterized by numerous advantages:
- No “H360F” labeling due to the use of advanced reactive diluents
- Low viscosity enables good wetting and easy application
- Suitable for numerous applications: e.g. floorings and coatings, chemical anchoring, crack injection
- Comparable characteristics to well-known epoxy blends such as D.E.R.® 3531 from Olin®
