Flavors and taste are known to make a difference

Nordmann is now offering natural flavors from its partner First Choice Ingredients. The company, which belongs to the dsm-firmenich group, uses a special manufacturing process called EMC (Enzyme Modified Cheese). By fermenting natural raw materials and using reaction technologies, First Choice Ingredients produces intense, characteristic cheese flavors as well as flavors to enhance buttery, creamy and yoghurt notes for use in the food industry. Nordmann is looking forward to distributing the new products in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

The company produces a wide variety of milk-based flavors. Their extensive range covers almost every preference, including various types of cheese and hints of fresh and lightly soured dairy products.

The EMC process is also increasingly being used to create plant-based flavors. This provides a wide range of authentic flavors for vegan cheese and dairy type applications, with various characteristics: the spectrum ranges from mozzarella and feta, gouda variations, cheddar, and authentic Italian hard cheese (parmesan) to butter and buttermilk, as well as cream and sour milk products.

All flavors, whether dairy or plant-based, can be customized to meet organic, kosher, halal, Non-GMO* Project Verifiable, dairy-free, vegan and gluten-free requirements. They are available in a variety of forms, including pastes, powders and liquids.
