One roof. Three labs. Countless ideas.

With the official opening of the new Life Sciences Lab at Nordmann's Headquarters in Hamburg on August 31, 2026, the international chemical distributor is bringing its application expertise in the Food, Health Care, and Personal Care sectors together under one roof for the first time. The state-of-the-art facilities provide the ideal conditions for innovation and even closer collaboration with customers and suppliers.

At the new Life Sciences Lab, Nordmann supports its customers in developing innovative products. The teams develop new formulations, test raw materials, and create market-oriented formulations, always keeping current trends and the individual needs of their business partners in mind. The offering is complemented by hands-on on-site seminars.

At the opening, internal guests gained insights into the work of the three laboratories. The Application Specialists presented selected samples and demonstrated the diverse expertise and possibilities in the Food, Health Care and Personal Care sectors.

With the new Life Sciences Lab, we’re combining the expertise of our teams in Hamburg with our European laboratory network in Italy, Poland, and the Nordic countries,” explains Petra Fisch, Sales Director Life Sciences at Nordmann in Germany. “The new Life Sciences lab strengthens our ability to connect technical expertise with market needs across Europe and supports our ambition to growth together with our customers and suppliers,” comments Dr. Paula Rodrigues, Global Sales Director Life Sciences.

The significance of the new location was also evident during the internal opening ceremony. The speakers emphasized the strategic role of Life Sciences for Nordmann, the close partnership with international suppliers, and the cross-country networking among Nordmann’s locations. The lab was officially opened with a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony, after which guests were able to explore the new facilities on guided tours.
