Sodium thiomethoxide

Sodium thiomethoxide (CAS 5188-07-8), also known as Sodium methanethiolate or Sodium methylsulfide, is a reagent used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. It is often used in the production of antibiotics, such as Cefazolin, and other types of cephalosporin. This chemical is a pale yellow solution with a characteristic sulfur odor.
