SILRES® MSE 100 is the methyl ester of a mixture of various oligomeric methyl silicates. It is a methoxy-functional methylpolysiloxane resin. The typical application of SILRES® MSE 100 is as a binder for coatings with the following properties:
- High heat resistance
- Room temperature crosslinking
- No smoke development during (initial) heating
- High hardness, no thermoplasticity
