Vulcanization accelerator for sulfur cross-linking rubber compounds
Can be used as primary or secondary accelerator for e.g. NR, IR, SBR, NBR, IIR and EPDM
Very short scorch time and high vulcanization speed
Scorch time decreases in the following order: ZDEC < ZDBC < ZBEC
To improve the aging resistance (e.g. with NR or IR), using antioxidants is recommended
Forms nitrosamines
Norcure ZDEC is usually dosed at up to 2 phr
Sold as: OP = oiled powder, MG = Masterbatch granules (75% active ingredient)
