Refined shea butter with a melting point of 36oC. It has ECOCERT. In addition, the producer of Lipex Shea actively supports the local community. In 2009, AAK launched a project in Burkina Faso called "Kolo Nafaso" to educate groups of women on how best to handle shea (from harvest to storage) to increase their income from higher quality shea beans. During the season from June 2013 to May 2014, AAK increased the number of women involved from 14,000 to 37,000. The goal was 30,000, but the interest of the local community exceeded expectations. AAK continues the principles of Fair Trade and gives them the opportunity to fully choose their trading partners.
