Kimarine® HC is a low-molecular fraction obtained from the brown edible alga Undaria pinnatifida (also known as Wakame), very popular in Asia not only in food, but also as a valuable and popular cosmetic ingredient and a valued element of traditional medicine. Kimarine® HC, in addition to protecting the skin against the harmful effects of urban pollution (anti-pollution effect), offers a protective effect on the hair against stress caused by environmental pollution (cigarette smoke or exhaust fumes) or UV radiation, stimulates the activity of stem cells of the hair follicles and protects the hair shaft . Kimarine® HC also prevents hair color from fading after daily exposure to the sun and improves hair quality.
