Controzon
Chemical Name:Mixture of paraffin and microcrystalline waxes
Supplier:DOG Chemie
Antiozonant
Auf die Merkliste
CAS number:8002-74-2
Antiozone wax with selected n- and iso-paraffins
- Specific molecular weight distribution with higher molecular weight fractions
- Operating temperature range: 25-40 °C
- Only slightly soluble in the rubber matrix at room temperature
- Mixing temperature should be above the wax’s melting point
- Depending on the application temperature, chain length of the wax, polymer used, etc., the wax migrates to the surface and forms a closed protective film
- FDA/BfR approved
- Solidification point: 54-58 °C
- Controzon can be dosed at up to 6 PHR
Sold as: Whitish pellets
For rubber articles made of NR, IR, SBR and CR with a service temperature in the moderate range
(Molded and injection-molded articles, sponge rubber, conveyor belts)
