Auf die Merkliste
Plastics
mprovement of toughness and elasticity of bioplastics (e.g. PLA & PHA),
compostable thermoplastic polycaprolactone
Coatings & Inks
Ingevity's Capa® polycaprolactone polyols offer state-of-the-art technology in polyurethane formulation. Formulators benefit from defined molecular gels, various reactivities, low viscosities and biodegradability of CapaTM thermoplastics for various industrial applications
Adhesives & Sealants
Ingevity's CAPA® polycaprolactone polyols offer state-of-the-art technology in polyurethane formulation. Controlled highest quality through ring opening polymerisation of CAPA® caprolactones enables adhesive formulators of e.g. reactive hot melt and solvent-free 1K and 2K adhesives to benefit from flexible formulation with the low viscosity CAPA® polyols. Adhesion and strength can be supported with the versatile CAPA® diol, triol and tetrol range. Adhesive formulators benefit from the biodegradability of CAPA® polyols and thermoplastics for various industrial applications including flexible packaging, footwear, heat sealing and construction applications.
Polyurethane Elastomers
Ingevity's CAPA® polycaprolactone polyols are suitable for the production of high quality polyurethane elastomers. It closes the traditional performance gap between polyethers and polyesters by offering a combination of hydrolytic stability and high mechanical performance. The portfolio includes di-, tri- and tetrafunctional polyols with primary hydroxyl groups, which are available in a wide range of molecular weights and viscosities.
