New partnership with Rabeler Fruchtchips

Multinational chemical distributor Nordmann launched a new partnership with Rabeler Fruchtchips GmbH this summer to market the company’s drum-dried fruit, vegetable and cereal-based products in Austria and Germany for a wide range of food and health care applications.

Nordmann is extremely enthusiastic about the new partnership. Based in Penzberg, Germany, Rabeler Fruchtchips maintains a strong focus on sustainable manufacturing with an emphasis on organic products.

Rabeler Fruchtchips has made a special name for itself in the drum-dried food products sector. Supplied in four different grain sizes, Rabeler Fruchtchips’ products are all made from fully ripe, puréed fruits and vegetables, juice and/or juice concentrate. Using gentle, low-energy drying processes to produce low-microbial dehydrated goods without any artificial flavors or colors, the company’s products are nonetheless rich in color and quickly return to their original pulpy or juicy consistencies when stirred into cold or warm liquids. From sachets to effervescent or coated tablets, powder mixes and baby food, they are suited to a wide range of solid and liquid applications.

Rabeler Fruchtchips’s products are GMO-free, vegan and kosher – all with fast delivery times. The company also supplies customized products that can be adjusted in terms of their composition and cut sizes. They can also be packaged in different types of containers for retail. This means that bespoke fruit, vegetable and/or cereal-based products, special blends and individually mixed, ground or baked products can all be made available upon request.

One of the company’s favorite new specialties is its protein flakes, which are made from plant-based protein sources such as lentils, chickpeas and seeds that have a naturally high protein content. A gentle roller-drying process breaks down the ingredients and makes the finished products capable of swelling in both hot and cold liquids without needing to be cooked again before they are consumed. The protein flakes provide an optimal means of enhancing the taste and nutritional value of both vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Stefanie Bartels, Senior Technical Sales & Product Manager Health Care at Nordmann comments: “We’re very excited to be partnering now with Rabeler Fruchtchips, as we’re certain it will be a great fit! The drum-dried products we’ll be working together to distribute are produced and packaged using environmentally conscious processes, as sustainability plays an important role at Rabeler Fruchtchips. It is also of great importance to Nordmann: We understand sustainability as a combination of ecological, social and economic responsibility. In collaboration with our partners such as Rabeler, we strive to deliver raw materials that help our customers reach their sustainability goals."

Christiane Rabeler, Sales Manager at Rabeler Fruchtchips adds, “It’s our hope that the new partnership will be a sustainable and long-term success. So far, all the signs look good!”
