Organic baobab oil: natural care for skin and hair
Baobab oil contains tocopherols, which have an antioxidant effect and protect against free radicals. It also consists largely of phytosterols and saturated palmitic acid. These ingredients are known to promote the preservation of the cell membrane, improve the skin's barrier function and slow down skin ageing. They also strengthen the top layer of the skin, protect the skin from transepidermal water loss and have a smoothing effect.
The use of baobab oil is therefore particularly recommended after sun exposure due to its soothing effect.
The oil is also suitable for combination skin and skin impurities as it is non-comedogenic (comedogenicity index = 0).
In hair care, baobab oil gives dry and curly hair shine and suppleness. It nourishes the hair fiber and restores elasticity to tired and dull hair.
