A new PBT Dinadur solution for e-applications
Nordmann partner UBE Composites Europe has developed Dinadur PBT1S25 G30V0 H, a new, high-performance polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) that has been specially designed to meet the requirements of the electrical and electronics industry and e-mobility. The material contains 30% glass fiber, is heat-stabilized, halogen-free, flame-retardant and has a V0 UL94 certification for all colors.
An outstanding feature of Dinadur PBT1S25 G30V0 H is its exceptional creep resistance: with a Comparative Tracking Index (CTI) of 600 V according to IEC 60112, the material achieves the best possible rating – a decisive advantage for applications where electrical insulation and safety are paramount.

Technical highlights at a glance
- CTI 600 V – highest creep resistance for maximum safety
- Excellent insulation properties – ideal for high-voltage applications
- UL 94 V0 – flame retardant, halogen- and phosphorus-free
- Very good flowability – for complex geometries and miniaturization
- High toughness – mechanically resilient and durable
- Excellent dyeability – for individual design requirements
