Nordmann in Austria wins third place in 2019 Austria’s Leading Companies competition
December 02, 2019: It is Austria’s most prestigious business award: for the past 21 years, the most successful companies in the country have been ranked and categorized in the Austria’s Leading Companies competition by the Austrian daily newspaper Die Presse, Austria’s credit protection association (Kreditschutzverband 1870) and Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) Austria.

In the 2019 competition, Nordmann, Rassmann Handelsges. mbH (Nordmann Austria) took home an award in the category of internationally active companies. Selected for the competition this year for the third time, the company was awarded third place. The results were determined by a jury, with company performance being the deciding factor; balance sheet figures as well as turnover and profit growth over the past three financial years are considered, and the use of a weighted scoreboard system, including quality and safety topics, ensures an objective ranking.

Nordmann, Rassmann Handelsges. mbH (Nordmann Austria) was founded in 1994 in the town of Vösendorf, just south of Vienna. It belongs to Nordmann, an international distribution company headquartered in Hamburg, Germany. Nordmann, Rassmann Handelsges. mbH supplies natural and chemical raw materials as well as specialty chemicals to manufacturing businesses and represents major producers of raw materials from around the globe. Nordmann, Rassmann Handelsges. mbH has a team of 12 employees and achieved a turnover of €33 million in 2018. Its export ratio is 65%.
